Until recently, this has actually always worked smoothly, but for a few weeks now a very strange problem has been occurring, which I personally, as a long-time Apple user, could not believe until I saw it with my own eyes: the iPad suddenly no longer responds to the Home button and on the lock button it does not turn off the display but it dims. IPads of different generations, but noticeably always with the latest iPadOS and Microsoft Remote Desktop app version.
We use the Microsoft Remote Desktop app on several iPads to access Windows PCs.
